Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that focuses on disorders of the neurological and musculoskeletal systems and how these disorders affect general health. Doctors of Chiropractic use a conservative, hands-on approach to restore and enhance the health of patients. In addition to broad diagnostic skills, Chiropractors are trained to recommend therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises and provide nutritional, dietary, and lifestyle counseling.
Our Chiropractors use a variety of techniques to restore joint motion, repair soft tissue injury, and relieve pain. The most common therapy performed is Chiropractic manipulation, or an adjustment. An adjustment involves a quick, light force being carefully applied to restore optimal joint function. This is a gentle, safe, and effective way to improve joint mobility and reduce pain and it can be performed on almost any joint in the body. Depending on each patient, their condition, and their comfort level, Chiropractic adjustments can be modified and low force adjustment tools can be incorporated.
Conditions commonly treated with Chiropractic care include:
- Low Back Pain
- Neck Pain
- Migraines and Headaches
- TMJ Pain and Disorders
- Pregnancy Related Pain
- Sciatica and Leg Pain
- Disc Injuries and Herniations
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Postural Dysfunction and Imbalances
- Shoulder, Arm, and Wrist Pain

Active Release Technique®
Active Release Technique (A.R.T. ®) is a highly sought after, state of the art soft tissue technique that uses movement based massage to successfully treat muscle, tendon, ligament, fascia, and nerve problems. A.R.T. practitioners learn over 500 treatment protocols that require an advanced feel for tissues and their texture, tension, and movement. Our Chiropractor uses this unique approach to break up scar tissue that forms between layers of tissue as a result of an acute injury, repetitive stress, or chronic tissue tension. A.R.T. reduces pain, improves strength and functional movement, and restores circulation and neurologic function.
Conditions that can be quickly and permanently resolved with ART:
- Headaches
- Neck and Back Pain
- Nerve Entrapments
- Shoulder Pain/Frozen Shoulder
- Tennis Elbow/Golfer’s Elbow
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Sciatica
- Knee Problems
- Shin Splints
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Sports Injuries
- Postural Stress

Sports Taping
From sports injuries to pre/postnatal strains, therapeutic Rocktape aids in the treatment, healing, and recovery of a variety of injuries. Therapeutic tape was designed to resemble the elasticity of human skin and to activate the body’s neurological and circulatory systems, therefore enhancing the natural healing process. This versatile tool can, depending on the application technique, compress or decompress, promote blood flow or reduce swelling, decrease pain, increase proprioception and stabilization, and enhance athletic performance.
Common conditions co-treated with therapeutic taping:
- Sprains/Strains
- Achilles Tendonitis
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Shin Splints
- Rotator Cuff Problems
- Tennis Elbow/Golfer’s Elbow
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Low Back Disorders
- Hip/Piriformis Pain
- Sciatica
- Pregnancy Related Back Pain, Rib Pain, and Swollen Ankles

Custom Orthotics
A custom orthotic provides support for the body from the ground up. Each orthotic is designed and created to match the specific needs of each individual, ensuring anatomical efficiency and biomechanical correctness. Custom orthotics help to correct specific imbalances of the feet, reduce physical stress on the body, and align the musculoskeletal system.
The foot is made up of 52 bones, 38 muscles, and 214 ligaments. The function of these structures directly affect movement of the knees, hip, and low back. Proper biomechanics of the feet can improve function and reduce pain throughout the entire kinetic chain. Most extended health plans cover the cost of custom orthotics.
Conditions relieved by custom orthotics:
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Shin Splints
- Bunions
- Foot, Arch, and Heel Pain
- Knee and Hip Pain
- IT Band Syndrome
- Sacroiliac/Back Pain
